Heron offers delicious food, with some of the best dishes that diners have experienced. The taste is good, and the portions are satisfying, featuring layered flavours that complement each other without clashing. The cocktails and drinks are refreshing, and the wine pairing, including a good variety of classic and interesting wines, enhances the meal. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The menu could clearly state which dishes are raw, as one diner was surprised by the completely raw mackerel. There were also issues with shells in the mussels, which the restaurant did not adequately address. Overall, Heron provides a fantastic dining experience with the potential for improvement.
