Our first pub visit, of course noticed as tourists, we sat at the table and waited for the waiter. But then someone came to the table and served us. Embarrassing ? in Scotland you go to the counter and order there.
Really nice ordinary pub, good staff, lovely facilities which were scrupulously clean, and sufficient space to avoid feeling crowded. Very popular, the pub filled up very rapidly with an after work crowd of all ages on the mid-week evening I visited. Improved a lot since I was last here a few years ago.

Were here for dinner on Sunday afternoon. Very nice service and delicious food for reasonable prices. There are a few TVs showing sports and a few billiards tables, but nothing disturbing. Payment is made at the counter in the same way as drinks are picked up. The cheeseburger is recommended, not an outstanding taste miracle but tasty and freshly made.
