11 Main St, East Kilbride, GlasgowAbsolute favourite over the last couple of years in EK. Quite unassuming; but cannot recommend enough. Service is as friendly as you can ask for, but the food is just another level.
This is our go-to eat out treat, and also the odd take-away. All the Indian classics, but with the Nepalese take also; if you like Indian, you can have the same journey, but down a Nepalese road.
We order different dishes every visit. And always left with a ‘glad I ordered that’ feeling.
Have to recommend the chilli momos (can order stater or main portions, and there is a lightweight version too). They take longer to make (so order with the drinks); but if you like spice and flavour combo… you will be crying happy, no lie. When you find that chilli, you’ll understand. ??
Do it. Just do it.

9 Hunter St, East Kilbride, Glasgow14 of us enjoyed celebrating a special Birthday a few weeks ago. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. They had a f p menu, a la carte, and specials board. I chose the lobster ravioli from the specials board, excellant. The food, surrounding, service and value for money were spot on. A total asset to the Village, East Kilbride. I will definitely return.

33 Main St, East Kilbride, GlasgowJust been to Zucca booked as a last minute think. We opted for the brunch menu which was absolutely amazing. A huge brunch selection with something for everyone. We had the Stornoway stack and American breakfast, both of which were amazing. Everything freshly cooked to perfection. This is a must for a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning. Staff so friendly and attentive. We also had some carrot cake which was the perfect way to round off our brunch. Loved it so much we're booking for next weekend with the kids & grandkids ♥️

Then a waiter showed up after some time saying that its a cocktail that ended up on our table by mistake and we have to pay for it ? he left it on our table and left, can you believe it? We haven’t touched it so you can keep it ? also waiting staff doesnt know the layout of the tables and takes them ages to find the one they want. 11th May afternoon

The staff had gone the extra mile to make me a very special non-alcoholic mocktail that made my needs which I don't drink myself. Chicken wings weren't that spicy, luisiana hot sauce wasn't spicy and was quite runny, not like the one you get at frenkies but it was still nice enough.

This meant eating in the Leeburn and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the food presented at dinner and breakfast ?, but most of all I have to complement the staff as their service was impeccable and so professional, always visible and making sure we were well looked after ?? Will def be back when in the area again and highly recommend everyone to try if they have not already !!!!

17 Stuart St, East Kilbride, GlasgowOrdered from Jimmy Wan's East Kilbride on Wednesday September 27th 2023. I've not tried Jimmy Wan's for a few years far less review it. I ordered a Breast Of Chicken Curry, Large Fried Rice, Curry Sauce, Chips & Prawn Crackers. With delivery this came to £21.60 + £2 tip for delivery driver who was very polite. What can I say, WOW, I was absolutely stunned by the portion sizes. Breast Of Chicken Curry was absolutely brimming with succulent soft sliced Chicken Breast. Chips were cooked to perfect & again the portion was plentiful for the price charged. The portion of Curry Sauce & the big carrier bag full of Prawn Crackers put other Chinese takeaways to shame (Mata Hari I'm talking to you. Eight Prawn Crackers in a bag for £2.50 & a portion of Curry Sauce which contained about 50ml for £2.70) Well Jimmy Wan's has beaten you all ends up. Reasonable sized extra portion of Curry Sauce & the Prawn Crackers were the old school kind like we used to get in the 1980's (My absolute favourite). Large Fried Rice more than filled two people going half with the entire meal. Curry was nice without being overly spicy but again Jimmy Wan's does offer Hot & Extra Hot Curry for a small extra charge. Overall compared with the letdown that is now Mata Hari across the street from Jimmy Wan's, the quality & quantity is miles better at Jimmy Wan's. I'll not wait as long to place another order that's for sure. Thanks again to all the staff at Jimmy Wan's for an excellent meal. There's only 'Wan' Jimmy Wan 5* this time from me.

I founded the Club in 1996 with the express purpose of eating curries and reviewing them. It’s been a tough 26 years! We have around 68,000 followers across social media and an unlimited number of “members”. Here is why I am reviewing a “take away” establishment; 1) the food is astronomical 2) the food is astonishing 3) the food is unreal. 4) the staff are fantastic 5) did I mention the food? You need to try the chicken tikka pardesi and the Peshawari Naan. Absolutely sublime! The nentara is also incredible but we are gradually going through the menu! Try the Mughlai Korma….the Chasni…it’s all ASTONISHING!

46-50 Kirkton Park, East Kilbride, GlasgowThe staff from the moment we walked in were welcoming and attentive bearing in mind we were a big table of 10 hungry for a decent curry but all arriving at different times the service did not lack for one moment. We kindly got invited to sit in the lounge area where we engaged with the friendly staff telling us about their restaurant, up coming events all while being looked after with beverages. After being seated at the table we received recommendations and they did not disappoint. Very tasty and hope they keep them on the menu. We had dietary requirements and allergies that needed to be considered once again the food recommended was everything that was promised. I’d eat here for a curry over and over again. Staff are top people family run restaurant with a great atmosphere and the food matches. Do not skip a curry in East Kilbride at Spice!

Such a lovely bunch of ladies! Alexis is a ray of sunshine and knows my order before I ask. Leonie and Caitlin are cheery, chatty and helpful, they have converted me to the esresso blend and are even nice enough to grind the beans.
Always a lovely place to stop, good coffee, great chat and good vibes.

Parking: It can be busy with non-dining guests attending meetings etc, but we usually get parked ok in one of the child parking spaces as we have our 22 month old daughter with us.
Kid-friendliness: The staff are very good with baby Charlotte. She always enjoys waving and saying thank you and bye bye and the staff engage brilliantly with her.

I rarely get a delivery through Just Eat but when I do the staff leave smiley faces and thank you messages on the bag. It's the sort of thing you remember.
I had a particularly frustrating Just Eat experience today so I decided to go down on foot to re-buy the items that weren't delivered.
The staff were really helpful and sympathetic to the situation and went beyond what I had expected to help me out.
Cut above the rest, honestly. Rare for a franchise.

I wasn't impressed with their chips however now that they've upgraded it I'm sure that it tastes a lot better instead of how bland it used to taste.

The Auldhouse Arms Bar
6-12 Langlands Rd, East Kilbride, GlasgowOne of the best pub lunches I have had in a very long time.
I had the fish and chips with a side of onion rings. The breaded fish tasted so fresh and so did the tartar sauce.
Onion rings were large and freshly crispy.
My husband had the four cheese macaroni with black pudding on top. He also agreed that the meal was very filling and delicious.
The main was so filling that I didn't have room for pudding.
So I plan to go back to have the sticky toffee pudding.
Would highly recommend this pub.
