Standard food cooked very well, with a friendly service. I’ve got a mushroom and cashew soup with a tuna toastie and my husband a chicken burger. Kids had a Mac and cheese and munched it. Simple place, but very warm and cozy, simple food but very tasty. Left the pub feeling very content and definitely recommend it.

discovered this pace today but wasn't overly impressed with the menu if you don't like the soup on offer or vegan stew then all that is available is a cake !!. although scones we ordered were tasty and the tea. and the staff were very kind

Drop in for late lunch. Our 2nd time here. Dog friendly place. Had a seafood risotto, steak sandwich, hot chocolate & tea. Good choices of food & drinks menu. Food is nice, service is fantastic.

Some of the best pastries I’ve had in a long time! The cardamom bun was simple but very good, and the chocolate cherry pastry has me thinking about adding an hour detour just to get it again!

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. Lovely food. Very fresh and tasty. Soup and quiche of the day highly recommended. Cakes and coffee were delicious too. Very dog friendly…. So much so, we were passing a few days after our first visit and our dog led us to the door to go back again. So we went back for a second visit! Will definitely return and would highly recommend

Travelled 160 mile round trip to try deep fried salmon that I had read about. Saw white pudding on the menu and got that as well. With chips. 2 friends and my spouse as well really enjoyed the food. The owner was very friendly and jovial but not over the top. Had the tartar sauce as well.
A lovely wee place with great food and service.
