Last night I read a really sad post that this wonderful haven was facing closure or at least a dimise. I travelled 90 (X2,) miles to come and support this beautiful set up. I took the last table in the house . Now, for the nay sayers of funders , you're not only failing beautiful young souls , but people like me , that are vulnerable and lonely. I don't speak to anyone for months . I had the most beautiful experience today . Anna , Harry and Chris and a lovely lass that served my food ( sorry I was overwhelmed with the ceiling) . This place cannot have their funding cut. I will do all I can to prevent it. It's a very safe place , for someone that has lived in fear this provided a few hours , I'm safe now! Grant givers , you are very lucky not to know that feeling. I am a firecely independent soul , but I beg you , you must find someway to continue this really safe and happy place to continue. The staff where lovely , I spoke to people more in 2 hours than since I was in hospital in December. This is a life line , please don't cut mine short !

Just had an absolutely stunning meal with my daughter for her 18th birthday and my 20yr old son. The food was amazing, service was great from the two Waiter's, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant too. Can't wait to return. Friendly staff , food served quickly was so full could not taste the deserts which was a shame they looked good !

The true meaning of a hidden gem!
The food is INSANELY good. Super fresh super tasteful. We got two soups that came with great bread, noodles, dumplings, a curry and some fried rice. All were exceptional indeed! The gentleman who runs things is super kind and professional. We felt really good ❤️

Found this gem of a restaurant on a very wet Monday lunchtime. A very warm welcome from the owner, cannot understand why the restaurant was empty. Ordered from the three course set lunch menu, which was very reasonably priced at £8.95 each I believe. Portion sizes were spot on for both of us. Husband ordered The Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken Chow Mein & Banana Fritter, I ordered the Vegetable Spring Roll, The chicken in Satay sauce with Peanuts & the Banana Fritter. Everything was fresh, very hot & tasty. Restaurant & bathrooms very clean. Will definitely eat here again & strongly recommended.

I drop into this little gem on the occasional Sunday for a very nice breakfast,that is always cooked fresh,and is always piping hot. I love the fact that it is one of the few places that serve fried bread with your fry up,it's always been a favourite of mine.The coffee is one of the nicest I've tasted in the town. Service is always very efficient,and the atmosphere is always very pleasant. This is a family run cafe,and the owners are always willing to strike up a conversation with you.I would not hesitate to recommend this very good little cafe to friends and family

I've ordered from this place more than 50 times in the last 8 months, I am not joking, I've tried every single item in the menu really and there is nothing to go wrong on, this place has it all, its a perfect 10, the ferrari/supermodel of takeaways:

- Cheap affordable prices;
- Big and some MASSIVE portions even on the cheaper items;
- Everything tastes FRESH and AUTHENTIC;
- They never refuse a reasonable request, chilli sauce or replacing the bread with extra meat, NO PROBLEM FOR YAMAS!
- The service is insanely consistent, you know you are getting gold every time you order.

I heavily recommend any of the salads, featuring fresh kalamata olives and dressings OR the Lamb Box, with a delightful combination of salad, juicy lamb meat and fresh chips/bread.

If Yamas Deli was a woman, I'd ask her to marry me right now.

What a lovely welcoming pub. The decor is lovely feels like a proper pub, but mainly more impressed by the warm and friendly service from the land lady on Christmas Eve. I reckon more pubs would be busier if they had this level of customer service. Just now popped in with kids after the fair. My first time there and first time actually sitting in a take away shop. Was pleasantly surprised. This was my 1st visit. My friend took me as she had lovely creamy cakes last time. Today's cakes were all made with fruit. Apple with almonds, plum with dark chocolate drizzle, rhubarb with crumble topping and mixed fruit with crumb top. As we couldn't choose Mirka suggested that we could have a taste of all 4! Impossible to pick a favourite. All were delicious and homemade by Mirka to traditional Polish recipes. A little gem with a big hearted owner!
