The Golden Chip

This is a great chippy! Ask for a fish supper and for £8.40, you get a long box with a good helping of chips and TWO nice sized pieces of Haddock. Very nice guy in charge, too.

My friend and I pop in when cycling nearby and thoroughly enjoy coffee and luxury scones with cream and jam. Staff are extremely friendly and prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely awesome night out at a hidden gem. A wee cracker of a pub. Barmaid was spot on with orders, despite being rushed off her feet she was smiling and chatting away until the end. Landlady made everyone welcome, chatting to regulars and strangers like us alike, made to feel really welcome.Barry - the best guitarist you have never heard of - is a character and a half. Ays every month. Got to see him again.Sign of a great night out: My head can't tell north from south, my mouth tastes like Gandhi's flip-flop, and I'm eating aspirin like smarties. The name caught my eye, first drink today perhaps? No, American football theme/vibe. No cask beers but very nice wine, too many televisions for my liking but locals chatting convivially.Restaurant open tomorrow (wednesday).

Pines Chippy

Last week was my 1st visit to Pine's Chippy and we enjoyed the food that much, I was back this week again for our Friday nyt takeaway. Would thoroughly recommend this chippy and I will be back again soon ?

Fave place to eat in denny, lovely food and the freshly made cheesecake is to die for! Always find the place warm and welcoming and they are even vegan friendly, it's quite hard to find, even caters for functions.

Absolutely fantastic. Best Chinese ive had in a long time. Quick delivery and portions were excellent. Shredded crispy chicken Cantonese style was out of this world! Defo be back

The chippy food is great. We got good portions and the chips were great. We have had good pizza for my sons birthday in the past too. Surprised to see the bad comments about service as they are always pleasant when I'm in.

Me and my wife are very fussy about food... Very hard to find a decent place to eat...Chilli Hut is perfect place...very hygienic, very polite staff and obviously amazing food and good price ?.
