Brambles Cafe
A710, DalbeattieWhat a great find.
This place was recommend to us by some friends.
Easy to find and plenty of parking.
Arrived and was confronted with chickens and ducks, amazing little place.
The cafe is very dog friendly which is why we came here.
The owner offered both dogs a wee biscuit and we were then seated.
I ordered the full cooked breakfast and my wife had a scone and haggis roll.
The food was amazing! Easy 5/5.
I will absolutely be returning.
Parking: Free parking for around 8 cars maybe .

Snax Sandwich Shop
72 High St, DalbeattieThese ladies have always been the best in town. Instead of my go-to today, (the hunters chicken wrap, godly btw), I had to try the trio of burgers they recently released to the world. Started off with the mini french burger, lovely, creamy brie, and has all the flavour of the big one. Then, the chicken. Beautiful. Classic. A sense of familiar comfort. Good crispy chicken. Then, the finale, the OG burger with onion. Absolute joy, full of flavour. You wouldn't think three wee sliders would fill you up, but they do a good job of doing so. Thank you again ladies! Highly recommend them!

Cum-Ye-Inn
94 High St, DalbeattieI booked the Cum Ye Inn for my mums 60th birthday. We were staying nearby at Barend Holiday lodges and were looking for a pub to spend Sunday afternoon. Julie was so accommodating and friendly. She booked an area of the bar for 30 of us and was able to let me pre order drinks for the tables. Everything looked so lovely on arrival and the drinks were chilled ready for us coming. Julie even put up birthday banners for us. There was a juke box to choose our own music, she asked my mum what her favourite genre was and had it playing all afternoon. We wanted to order food and Julie ordered us in takeaway from the local Chinese and even collected it for us. My mum and family had the best time, will be back when I’m in the area. Such a great day! Thank you so much.

Best Pizza & Kebab House
15A High St, DalbeattieGot the Chicken kebab. It was nice and salad was good couldn't fault it really. Chillie sauce was a bit watery and was warm which I found a bit strange. Overall good value.
