Visited first time in 2006 when both Dorothy and Joe were alive. Their spirit is still there, I think ?
(They don't actually serve food, so the stars are for the beer and whisky ?)

Highlander Inn
10 Victoria St, Craigellachie, AberlourVery good meal and excellent dessert. The cheesecake and the scoop of raspberry ice cream were very good. The servers are very friendly and smiling. And they apologize/warn you if there is a delay in the kitchen. Their house whiskey is excellent and fragrant.
Dog friendly for meals on the terrace.
Food and drinks: Excellent cheesecake and ice cream.
Very good dishes: giant hamburger and fried shrimp.

FQPV+FQ, Charlestown of Aberlour, AberlourWhat an UNBELIEVABLE meal! Every course blew my mind—each dish was so creative and beautifully crafted by the chef. The flavors were bold, unique, and perfectly balanced.
I highly suggest doing the whisky pairing—after all, you’re at The Macallan! It really took the meal to the next level and made the entire experience unforgettable. Go big or go home, right? If you’re dining at The Macallan Brasserie, prepare for an extraordinary culinary adventure. Highly recommend!

Copper DOG
Victoria St, Craigellachie, AberlourPopped in to the Cooper Dog now the Spey Inn last week as we couldn't get in the Mash Tun. The staff were excellent, warm, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We cancelled our dinner booking at the Mash Tun on the back of it and had dinner the next night which was excellent again, high quality and in a lovely atmosphere. We returned for drinks on another two occasions. The young people that looked after us need to be commended for their efforts and the management for selecting people and installing a great attitude to service. Well done all at the Craigellachie, we will be back again the next time we are up in Speyside. Best regards Ken Scott
