Restaurants in Carnoustie

Ganges Indian Restaurant
11 Park Ave, CarnoustieSuperb Indian food. Absolutely amazing tandoori and naans. Not had a bad curry from here either and we've had a fair amount of variety too. Decent prices for most things and the more expensive dishes have seemed worth it too!

The WeeCOOK kitchen
Downs Holiday Park, The WeeCOOK kitchen Barry, CarnoustieFirst tried their pies at the Partick Farmers Market in Glasgow. Sooo good.
We are staying at Kirriemuir for a few days and made our way to Carnoustie to the Wee Cook. It was perfect.
Had the beef bourguignon pies. They are the bomb. So much tender slow cooked beef. They’ve got a nice wee set up at a caravan park and we sat outside.
Tessa our server was a delight. Friendly and very helpful. Grab a drink from the bar next door.
Job done.
Great job guys. See you back in Partick

The Rookery
Links House, Links Parade, CarnoustieStopped at the Rookery for lunch having cycled from Dundee. The food was excellent and the staff as previous mentioned were at another level. Whatever they are doing they are doing it right.
Would highly recommend and will most definitely be back.
Dietary restrictions: One of my friends were gluten free. Staff could not be more helpful.

Titanic Pizza
104 High St, CarnoustieBeautiful fresh stone baked pizza ?.Pizza had always been tasty each time I’ve went and service is quick whether you’re collecting or having it delivered. They also have a mobile app so you can order from your phone. They boast the biggest pizza in Angus - 20” and it’s absolutely massive. Typically costs £25 with any 5 toppings of your choice but it’s half price on Tuesdays which is a big bargain.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and you can also choose your own toppings.Parking: Free street parking right outside or alternatively there’s a few car parks within about a 2-5 min walk.

Gather Kitchen Deli
25-27 Dundee St, CarnoustieMight be the best benny I've ever had, and I've had more than my fair share. Prompt and friendly service in a great location. If you're golfing, stop by and fuel up in the morning. Beats hotel breakfast by a mile!

Corner Hotel Restaurant
103-105 Dundee St, CarnoustieThe hotel was a pleasant experience. We were there for 4 nights and loved everyone and everything about the hotel and bar. We met Rob, the manager and he has put together a staff of family and friends that are delightful! The food was outstanding and the drinks were plentiful and priced right. All in all, after 2 months of travel in Europe we have the fondest memories of that hotel and Carnoustie. Going back next year for another dose of old Scotland. A great experience!! Thank you all so muchDan and Nancy

Efes Take-Away
98 High St, CarnoustieNice enough takeaway with good kebabs. My only criticism is the hot chilli sauce for kebabs is slightly more like a salsa type thing than a sauce, and there’s never anywhere near enough of it for your food.Like other takeaways in the area, it feels to be getting more expensive, although nowhere near as expensive as Euphrates across the road.

Imperial Restaurant
44-46 Dundee St, CarnoustieThis review is for take away food. We were delighted with our food last night, best Chinese food in a long, long time. Everything was hot and fresh, no soggy vegetables. Although one of our dishes wasn’t on the menu, it was no trouble to make it and was prepared perfectly. Tofu can be over cooked but this wasn’t. Will definitely use again.

The Indos
124 High St, CarnoustieThis is one of the cheaper kebab shops in Carnoustie (although in my opinion maybe not as good as some of the others). I did however get a munchy box recently which was excellent and very reasonably priced at only around a tenner (other local places would be close to double). I’m not a big fan of regular chips from takeaways (chippys excluded) but the chips were absolutely excellent. Perfect level of seasoning.Huge amount of food and it was all very tasty. More than enough for one person and was shared between two. Delivery was absolutely rapid too.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options in the menuParking: Plenty of free street parking and car parks near by
