Been going here for about 33 years my gran stayed in Aitken Street and parent's in parade every Friday she'd get me to pick up special fish supper to take down to her. it's always been the best wee chippy around. I've tried all the award winning places around Glasgow and nothing comes close to the character of this wee belter. Of course you're probably thinking if he's been going here for 33 years he's obviously going to give it biased review and yes you're probably correct but try it. There are two Chippies in Glasgow worth trying. Benny's and University cafe on byres road. These two at opposite ends of Glasgow are unparalleled prove me Wrong..

These guys are first class, the service,the food are always spot on. The standard of food is very of high quality always hot and fresh. Best takeaway we have tried and it was by chance we stumbled across them. Would never go anywhere else now on a Saturday for our treat.Big shout to the pleasant delivery driver aswell

Went to purchase pizzas using a gift voucher I had then app said voucher had been used when it wasn’t! Johnny went above and beyond to help called customer service (waiting a call back) the problem with paying on app but Johnny and his excellent customer service went above and beyond to help me out. This is the best fast food place in the area.The quality, choice and prices are excellent.Always freshly cooked and generous in portionThe owners are lovely and their staff are the nicest!! The young couple who work there are so friendly and interested in everyone ...nothing is too much bother.I was in recently and my card didn't work and they insisted I took the food and handed in cash next time I was in the area ...first class people ...thank you!!
