Glenesk Hotel

My daughter had a pool party with her friends to celebrate her 11th birthday. The hotel was lovely, the staff were helpful, the atmosphere was very relaxed and the pool was so much fun, and very much enjoyed by the party goers. Thank you so much!

Bridgend Bar & Lounge ( The Brig)

Excellent service, the younger girl that served us was welcoming and always had a smile on her face. The food was also perfect, I don't really have anything to complain about really.

Angus Grill + Larder

First time stopping at this place...

The decor inside the place is very modern, everything is very clean including the toilets

Took quite a long time to get served, quality of the food is generally good although I would stop short of calling it amazing

It's also not the cheapest place either, although you are paying extra for the premium atmosphere, decor, toilets etc and convenient location as well as the higher quality of food

Overall, not a bad choice of place to stop and probably the best place to go for food near the A90 dual carriageway

Brechin Arms

Service was brilliant, we were greeted with a friendly welcome. We had soup and a toastie and picky old me, was accommodated lol. Food was nice as was the wine ? ?The ambience in the Brechin Arms ivory quaint, cosy and homely. Lovely fire on the go, which was very inviting in this recent weather. I think no matter what age you are you would feel welcome and enjoy here.Theres even special coffee's for the ladies that want out the house for a bit.A quirky cocktail bar for the younger crowd, and I believe some music occasionally to entertainOverall a nice wee quaint place, I wouldn't hesitate to pop in again for a wee tipple or 2Thank you Michelle & Co

The Panmure Arms Hotel

Fantastic meal at the Panny this evening! Food tasted so fresh. Very healthy sized portions. Desserts to die for. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

Hickory Restaurant

Rather sadly, I was attending a funeral tea; but that being said, the staff did everything to ensure our time there was relaxing and well catered for. There was a constant stream of hot & cold drinks, plenty of well prepared sandwiches & sausage rolls along with an array of delicious cakes. The staff were turned out in smart attire as befits the occasion, pleasant & very helpful. The room was well presented & nice and cosy. A+ for the service we received. Well done, you served the bereaved family well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of space to accommodate a wheelchair user. Easy access, without restrictions. There is plenty of space to comfortably move around inside.

The Whistle Stop

Today was the first time I have visited this lovely cafe despite having lived in Brechin for over 2 years. Very friendly service, great prices, and the best Victorian sponge cake that I've had since moving from England. Looking forward to going back again soon!

The Tuck Inn

One of my friends got me a fish supper from The Tuck Inn. It was absolutely awesome. Has to be one of not The, best fish suppers I’ve had. Placed my order the following night and it just confirmed it wasn’t a fluke. Good food, great staff and the owner (who cooked my fish) got stuck in with his staff. A must go if you want a great fish supper. Oh and the chips……? the fritters ??. Wow

Bread and Butter Sandwich Shop

There are many 1st class sandwich shops ~ but this one is at the top of the list. The food is fresh, prepared well, and presented in a way that you want to try everything. [I dare you to leave without a homemade cake !] There is nothing too much trouble for the girls. The only problem you'll have is making a choice from the extensive delicious choice on offer.

The Caledonian

A nice old pub with a warm atmosphere. The selection of beer and cider on tap is good. I went for a family meal and the menu choice was surprisingly big and varied for a pub. The prices are very reasonable as well. The staff were nice and helpful.

Dinos Fish Bar

The place was quiet when we arrived, a bit like the rest of the town
However, the service was prompt and friendly.
Got to say, the menu undersells the food by a country mile... I was sceptical of my chicken burger and my wife's mac & cheese costing £8 each. But the food delivered with a bang, massive boxes stuffed with the good stuff, and both burgers tasted awesome.
An absolute bargain, and a cracking discovery on a Thursday evening.

Auld Bakehouse

Popped in for lunch at the weekend when we were in Brechin picking up something. Fed up of the same places so came here on a recommendation. We were not disappointed! Lovely atmosphere and cheery friendly staff. Had the soup and sandwich...very hearty portions for the price and absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Dinos Kebab And Pizza House

Good food,great service.I ordered the pizza deal,2x10 inch pizzas and 2 cans of juice.Chose 2 vegetarian pizzas and they were delicious.Also had the nutella pizza 7 inch but although tasted good,i probably wouldn't buy it again as it would be better eaten straight awsy rather than when getting cold but was tasty.

Hudson

Very comfortable beds pillows etc .very friendly staff.food was delishes. Will definitely go back .I was on crutches and was given the wet room which was a great advantage. Very reasonable priced.thank you

Lucky House

Spring roll was solid, helped me out tho min, used it to hammer a nail in my brick wall for my new picture frame. Think I left my hammer on a site somewhere, need to buy one soon to replace the spring roll.
