Delicious mocha and cake, though a little dry unfortunately. The pesto chicken toastie was delicious and filling - bought the other half home to have for dinner and was just as good the second time.
Friendly staff with good service. Only downside was that it got quite full while I was wanting to pack up, pay and leave with only one staff member to make coffee, taking orders and serving drinks. Had to wait a bit longer than I would’ve liked to box up and pay; however, the staff were working very hard and kept the friendly service the entire time.
They were also very patient when I had issues with payment due to foreign cards and I appreciated the patience as I was quite embarrassed.
Loved that they had takeaway and dine-in prices and would’ve appreciated that if I was a local or picking up a coffee to go.
Overall, a lovely wee cafe and would definitely go back if I were to visit Ayr again!

The flavor was rich and delicious, easily one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a while. It was a perfect treat to enjoy while relaxing at the café. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, making it a great place to unwind. If you’re ever in the mood for a great milkshake, Renaldo’s is the place to go!

10 George St, AyrOur first experience of Indian tapas. We were not disappointed, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We both ordered two dishes and then one ordered rice whilst the other had a garlic and coriander naan that we shared.
The meal was really good and the tapas element added a further dimension to the meal. Highly recommended. If we lived closer, we would certainly use this restaurant frequently.

1, Carrick Lodge Hotel, 46 Carrick Rd, AyrI was in The Fox & Willow for breakfast this morning, with my dad and my dog. Unfortunately, my dog was sick towards the end of our meal. I feel this is worth mentioning, because while my dad and I were obviously embarrassed and were doing what we could do clean up after him, the staff could not have been friendlier, and went to the maximum effort to help us, to reassure us that what had happened wasn’t a big deal, and to make both my dad and I AND my dog feel welcome, despite this unfortunate incident. With the shortage of dog-friendly restaurants, I really strongly recommend The Fox & Willow; the domes, in particular, are ideal for any families wanting their pet to share the dining experience. And thanks again to the staff on shift this morning, who I really feel went above and beyond to help us out and make us feel welcome.

Lovely, comfortable, spacious rooms with nice touches like home made shortbread by the bed when you arrive. The breakfast was delicious, and catered for all tastes and appetites. Very handy location for Ayr town centre and Prestwick. We would definitely come here again.

Asda has everything you need .Brand items to there own products. I find myself buying Asda quality products from tolieteries, makeup, sprays, clothing, household, entertainment, toys, and a few brand names. Also when your finished shopping you can head over to Cafe and eat and drink and kids eat for a £1 plus there's a takeaway service plus you can order on Just eat to have it delivered home. So spoiled for choice. Thankyou Ayr Asda.

The White Horse Inn
22 Barbieston Rd, Dalrymple, AyrStumbled upon this little village pub while wandering about in Scotland. The owner's kindness is second to none, and the locals were very welcoming, suggesting places to go see. Dogs are welcome, there is also a pool table available. Since we were sleeping in the car, the owner immediately proposed us to stay in the back of the pub in a sheltered parking spot, also provided a kettle of hot water to keep us warm.This place might not look like much on first sight, but we had a really great time there !

The appearance of flat white, let's me know how skilled the barista is. If I am paying for a quality product I expect a better coffee than the Costa machine. The Heathfied store is a bit variable in that regard. The staff are friendly.

92 Sandgate, AyrAmazing atmosphere. The serving ladies were amazing. The food hit all the right tastebuds. The chips (fries) were the best ones we have had on our trip. Great selection of wines and beers. We had a great laugh with the servers. We will definitely be coming back for a main course!

Mr Basrai's World Cuisine Ayr
3-7 Beresford Terrace, AyrWe were in as a party of 10 for mine and my sons birthday and everything was top class. From the second we walked in we were treated so well. The staff were amazing. My grandson is 8 months old and got the same treatment. Was a great birthday treat. We will be back!!

A713, Hollybush, AyrHad a lovely lunch here with my daughter & two wee dogs. Lovely welcome & were delighted to not be put 'in a corner' because we had dogs. Food was excellent. Good selection of gluten free options. (Burger was amazing). Steak cooked exactly as requested & very tasty. Staff lovely & big 'shout out' to Abigail who was a delight. Highly recommend

98 Sandgate, AyrI recently visited Renaldo’s and had one of their milkshakes, and it was absolutely fantastic! The texture was smooth, creamy, and perfectly blended. The flavor was rich and delicious, easily one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a while. It was a perfect treat to enjoy while relaxing at the café. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, making it a great place to unwind. If you’re ever in the mood for a great milkshake, Renaldo’s is the place to go!

228 Prestwick Rd, AyrIf you are looking for a traditional Scottish bakery then Kenny's Bakery is the place to go! Sadly our normal favorite bakery when visiting in Ayr closed earlier this year but we were so glad to find Kenny's! Wonderful chocolate eclairs and millionaire shortbread!

Chestnuts Restaurant & Hotel
52 Racecourse Rd, AyrAs usual excellent food great value for money. Excellent service by all the staff so polite and friendly. Never had a bad meal anytime visiting this hotel. Highly recommend if in Ayr dine at this restaurant.

Parking: My mum has limited mobility, and the parking behind the venue is quite small, but we did mange to park there.

10 Seafield Rd, Seafront, AyrWe went in for dinner tonight it’s our first time dining here , the service was excellent and the food was just amazing I can honestly say it’s our best Indian meal we have ever had . I don’t ever give reviews when dining out but felt I wanted to write about our experience tonight at Ayr India definitely worth a visit. Thanks also for the free bailys after dinner that was such a nice touch

44 N Harbour St, AyrStumbled across this place whilst passing through and im so glad i did,proper old style caff...Friendly cheerful staff and a lovely breakfast and a coffee ,all for a fiver. . They even brought a sausage over for my little dog. Loads of free parking too .Absolute winner.

Low Coylton, Coylton, AyrMy four children and I are visiting my grandmother in Coylton.We booked a table at The Coylton Arms as I stumbled across it on Google and was right on our doorstep. We were so pleased we did.What a great find…It’s a pub that’s set back slightly out of the way.The bar is at the front and the restaurant is at the back.It’s a clean, cosy but modern little restaurant.The staff were absolutely lovely. They were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was very welcoming.The great service could only be topped by the food…Oh my! The food was beautiful.I had the fillet medallion at £17.99 which came with peppercorn sauce, mash, roasted potatoes and veg.My Grandma had the macaroni cheese.The portion was just right as there was enough to consider a pudding but you would still be full if you decided against having a dessert.The deserts were wonderful and there was plenty to choose from. It was a difficult decision. I was tempted by the biscoff or strawberry cheesecake options or the rebate crumble but ended up trying the Bueno waffle which was unreal!The children’s menu had a good variety and was reasonably pricedThere is a free car park and a small play park at the back.I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area.I will definitely be returning.Thank you for a wonderful meal and service?????

Cecchini’s Italian restaurant
72 Fort St, AyrWe have been going here for over 10 years and we love it. We now go with our 4 year old daughter and her favourite is the macaroni ! Very relaxed atmosphere for lunch and for dinner. Staff are very friendly and nothing is a bother. What more could you want.

10 George St, AyrOur first experience of Indian tapas. We were not disappointed, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We both ordered two dishes and then one ordered rice whilst the other had a garlic and coriander naan that we shared.
The meal was really good and the tapas element added a further dimension to the meal. Highly recommended. If we lived closer, we would certainly use this restaurant frequently.

12 Carrick St, AyrThank you to Lisa, the team and Chefs for a superb Valentines weekend Menu. Food was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh. Great Customer Service. Value for Money. Lisa and staff were very attentive nothing was too much bother. I have Anaphylaxis, I notified the team in advance as I could see the item of food was on the menu. The staff were great as were the Chefs to ensure no cross contamination. If you haven’t been before to the Stage Door Cafe it’s well worth a visit.

The Coylton Fish and chips
Murray Park, 1, AyrPassing through the area with a 2 hour drive ahead of us so called for food. We both got pizzas freshly baked in the woodfired oven. We would have been happy if we had been served these in a fancy Italian restaurant they were so good. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We would definitely go back if in the area again.
