Main Rd, AuchterarderFriendly staff, well kept, thoughtful decor inside. Good smoking area in a large beer garden.
Standard but well cooked pub fare, everyone enjoyed what they had. Choice was slightly limited, but I don't know how often it's changed.
Lovely cosy atmosphere. We will certainly be back.

Dined here on Wednesday night whilst on a short trip away with my wife and 9 month old… a great experience and probably one of the best meals we have had in a long time.
We were welcomed by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to accommodate us and our wee boy.
The food was excellent. To start we shared a bruschetta followed by the braised beef ragu for my wife whilst I had the Tuscan sausage and nduja rigatoni. Both of these were excellent with fresh pasta, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. We finished our meals with a sticky toffee pudding & creme brûlée. We ordered food off the kids menu for our son. This consisted of a focaccia & hummus starter then a tomato pasta main, he seemed to love this as much as we did ours and just about ate the lot!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone heading to auchterarder and we will be sure to visit again in the future.

The hospitality here and general ambience was done to absolute perfection - perfectly balancing a homely welcome with feeling you've gone out for a treatThe starter I had (souffle) was fabulous, one of the best starters I've had, the mains were very good but my beef was slightly over the requested order - though the meal was nontheless very enjoyable. The dessert options were traditional and for my personal tastes a little hearty after a very meaty menu. A lighter dessert option and beef cooked to my preference would have earned 5 stars for food however don't be dissuaded by this, the food is still a real treat.

Lovely friendly colleagues, beautiful surroundings, very comfy. Has lots of places to get privacy, including a gorgeous private dining area. 10/10 Fab-u-lous!

Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, AuchterarderWe had booked dinner at Andrew Fairlie during our stay at Gleneagles. I had high expectations and we were not disappointed.
The service was attentive and friendly, our dinner felt relaxed and not stuffy. We chose to do the degustation menu, and it was a great experience to try so many courses.
The general manager Dale is a real credit to the restaurant and you can see he loves his job, it really shines through. The rest of the team were also great. The service really elevated our experience.
I hope one day we are lucky enough to return

Duchally Country Estate, Gleneagles, AuchterarderOutstanding food and great service too. I had the beetroot and feta to start then the duck for main. Cooked to perfection! Just wish we hadn’t waited until our last night to visit as would have definitely returned. Highly recommend!

The bartenders were nice and friendly.
One of the days I ordered this salmon platter and it was to die for, I love Scottish salmon!

I was absolutely gobsmacked with the quality and quantity of the food. Morag was very accommodating with my request. I collected on a Saturday morning and really enjoyed the experience. 168 High St, AuchterarderDecided to try this chippy as we are on holiday, que was out the door (wed night) and we now know why.. food was absolutely delish, had a fish supper and it was by far the best, fresh, perfectly cooked crispy battered fish I’ve eaten in years.. we are going back tonight for another and will definitely be taking a drive from Fife back up soon. Staff very polite, as were the locals we spoke to whilst waiting. 30 mins wait but it was worth it for the fresh cooked food.

This is where breakfast is served every day, you can do a la carte or do the buffet, or both!
Infinity of options to choose from, I think it’s by far the biggest selection I have ever seen on a breakfast buffet, not only great selection but amazing quality food!
We also hosted some friends for dinner at this same restaurant and the dinner was just outstanding, from the service, the selection of champagnes and wines, the food, everything was 10/10, we had such amazing evening with live music on the background. I didn’t take any photos of the evening as I didn’t find appropriate doing so in front of our guests, but they were also delighted by the whole experience.
The dress code is more casual for breakfast, but definitely dress up for lunch and dinner, such a beautiful and fancy restaurant.

Gleneagles Hotel, The, AuchterarderWe ate here for our evening meal as part of our stay at Gleneagles. The staff were very good and checked back regularly. The quality of the food was very good and enjoyable. A couple of things let it down, our steak was undercooked to the way we asked and this wasn’t checked by our server as per the restaurants guidance online. We didn’t raise this as actually the quality of the meat was so good we still enjoyed it a lot. We were sat under a vent which was blowing cold air and it did impact our experience. The staff had tried to get this turned off and the manager came to apologise himself. Overall we are happy to score the restaurant 5 stars as the food was so delicious and for the manager coming over himself to apologise was appreciated.

Wife and i had the Indian thali sharing platter which was a delicious feast that left us very full indeed. Excellent value. Only slight negative was that my seat was about 2 foot away from the kitchen which made it quite warm environment.

80 High St, AuchterarderHands down, an Auchterarder favourite for locals for around 20 years. Best authentic HK Chinese takeaway for miles. It's purely a no-frills walk in takeaway so you don't come for the atmosphere. They don't deliver but don't let that put you off! Call in your order, then pick it up in 15-20 mins. Generous portions and humongous menu to suit all tastes, GF-ers and picky eaters. Thank you, Shek family and staff!
