Bread & Butter Cafe
5 Rodger St, Cellardyke, AnstrutherThis has to be one of the nicest brunch experiences I've had in a while and would be up there with the best in any city. We were a large group with children, and they couldn't have been more accommodating in getting us a table set up. The service was super friendly, the food was delicious and only negative is I live too far to visit regularly ?
Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating, and suggested they could offer off menu simplified offerings for the kids eg plain cheese toastie etc

The Rockies Restaurant
Shore Rd, Marsfield, Anstruthermy partner and I visited on Tuesday evening (8th Oct) for dinner. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in and felt valued. The set menu is terrific value for money and the portions are excellent. The food was fantastic, we both had a starter and a main. The moules marinaire were the best I have ever tasted. Burger and chips and the Haggis and leek olives were delicious. We'd never been here before despite visiting Anstruther often, but will definitely return and will recommend highly to anyone visiting the area.

Murray’s Chippy
46 Station Rd, St Monans, AnstrutherStopped sat this chippy whilst in Lundin Links. Fish and chips and a single smoked. Sausage. A fish the size of a whale it took two to get it in the box.Cooked to perfection in delicious crispy batter. and delicious chips. My side salad of the smoke sausage was a delicious accompaniment washed down with a 2021 claret of Diet Coke. Nice friendly man and girl on front of house duties and the sauce sommeliers recommendation of brown sauce to compliment the meal was just divine. Our table for two, namely the front of the VW Beetle overlooking the golf course provided the perfect Vista. you are passing and see this mobile culinary delight, hit the brakes you won’t be disappointed.

Dreel Tavern
16 High St W, AnstrutherThe food was nothing special and slightly overpriced. There were no vegetables or greens with my main meal. I ordered fries for some kind of veg and they were so salty that I struggled to eat them. They were caked in fine table salt.

DAN'S GOODS CRAIL
2 High St, South, Crail, AnstrutherI've just had a lovely sausage roll and a nice latte for dinner from here. There is a good stock of the usual goods to be found in a shop of this size, including a variety of hot filled rolls. The server was polite, prompt, and very friendly. She even offered to heat up my sausage roll, great customer service. You have now got another return customer.Parking: Council Parking Attendants patrol this area so stay off the double yellow lines.

Crail Fish Bar & Cafe
35 High St, North, Crail, AnstrutherAbsolutely loved this place. The fish tasted amazingly well prepared and the staff was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend, thanks for the great dish with mash and sauces on the side. The seagulls and cats also love this place since they're looking through the window from outside, which seemed a funny scenario.

Anstruther Fish Bar
42 - 44 Shore St, AnstrutherThe fish here is delicious with a tasty, crispy batter and the chips are amazing. I took my Canadian relatives for a wee treat and they loved it. We visited just before the lunch rush, so we didn't have to queue too long, but we have queued here before for over half an hour and it's always worth it.
