The George of Harpenden

We had a fabulous meal at The George. We were visiting family and decided to have Sunday lunch. The restaurant was busy and there were some big tables, but the service was excellent considering. Visited the George Harpenden on the 10th August 2024. Was served by two wonderful young ladies Sophia and Nuria. Exceptional customer service, fantastic food, cocktails were wonderful. Great location, clean, tidy. Cannot fault it at all. Thank you

We dined at the George 29th of August for an evening meal there was six of us, the meal was so disappointing, four of us had the Chicken Milanese it was supposed to be with salad and fry’s, the chicken was dry and looked burnt, the salad consisted of a couple of pieces of lettuce and two small pieces of sun dried tomatoes, i have never seen anything like it, we also ordered a dessert the ice cream with flapjacks, when that came it was one spoonful of ice cream and two tiny...read full review
