The Denmark has been around for years and been through many different attempts to manage the place.The new management are doing a great job.It's a lovely pub in a challenging location - loads of room, comfy old school boozer.Pool table and darts - quiet area at the back - proper pub.
Fantastic local pub that understands its modern clients and loyal Newham past.Love the traditional East End decor that feels home to proper geezers and modern students alike.The dartboard, mix of retro furniture, mosaic & wooden flooring is somewhere I'm definitely coming back too.My darts are accurately inaccurate.The warmth of this part of earthy London is still alive.The fact it sells rich home-made mulled wine next to Guiness, inch's cider and Pravha says a lot.Events...read full review
Such a beautiful building (listed) and the promise of an old fashioned Victorian experience. I used to frequent this pub in the 1980's and it was a great place to be. I pop into East Ham occasionally and used to drink in the Millers (spoony) but this was closed. So we popped into the Denmark Arms to see what had changed.The service was good but then again hardly anyone was in at around 17:30 on a Saturday evening.
