Excellent pub. I've been here a few times now, and have gone out of my way to do so as I don't live too close. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the drink selection is great (LOTS on tap), and food is always banging. Top marks. ?

Has been on my list for bar/breweries to visit during my stay in Edinburgh. The Porty Vault specializes in sour beer and offers a huge selection of those on tap. The list is complemented by some guest beers. Staff was super friendly and I was able to sample all beers before buying. Visited this past Saturday and was really impressed. My taste in beer is usually rather tame, but we were guided through the offerings by the very knowledgable and enthusiastic staff who offered tasters of their recommendations without us even having to ask. I found a few beers which I really enjoyed and had overall a great experience!
