Brass Monkey

Used to come here in the early 70s for a swift pint or two after work at the old Woolworths across the road.<br>Was known as The Lord Burleigh then. Many a happy evening, and some lunch times, spent here :-)

I hosted a charity pub quiz in the Brass Monkey and it was a close to perfect evening; organising the event was a breeze, the space was perfect, and Anamaria and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, even helping me to clear up at the end of the event. The food was delicious and drinks reasonably priced; I honestly couldn't fault anything about Brass Monkey and it'll always be a special place for me now!

I've been somewhat remiss in not posting this earlier as my visit came on 30th Sep '23. However, I was heading home after a long, kazy lunch and z couple of pints elsewhere and as I had a 30m wait for a train, I popped into the Brass Monkey.
