Popped in after a Jack the Ripper tour for a quick drink and ended up coming out at 1 am. The pub had a nice fusion of an old historic pub with a fresh young vibe and a great playlist too. The pub was busy but with plenty of staff behind the bar service was quick. Shout out to the bar staff who on a busy Saturday night worked really hard.
A seriously good pub with an excellent atmosphere and one of the few places in London where you won’t hear a bunch of annoying normie music (pop “music”), but instead you’ll often hear proper music – heavy metal!

The bar staff are charming and amazing. They should all be given a raise!
We stopped in after going on the Jack the Ripper tour. The bartender was friendly and offered a taste of any beer we wanted to try as there is a nice selection of beer on tap. The prices are very reasonable especially as this spot attracts tourists.
Unfortunately, we didn’t see the ghost of Annie Chapman.
