Number Eight

Pretty mediocre. Mushroom lasagne was dry and under seasoned. Fish was overcooked and the whole dish lacked seasoning. The green oil on the fish dish tasted of nothing, and there was some kind of grit left on the fish. Overall, pretty disappointing. We were visiting from London so I have no idea if this is great by Sevenoaks standards or not. It might be the best in town!

Our first visit and will definitely be back. Received a warm welcome on arrival and staff were friendly and helpful throughout.<br>Choice of a set menu, main menu or vegan menu for lunch.<br>The squid and Toulouse sausages & mash potatoes from the set menu were both delicious. This was our first time here, having seen good Trip Advisor reviews. We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the ambience really good. We really enjoyed it!
