The Mere Park

We called in on Sunday 20th October. Lady who took our order explained the chef is on his own today so wait will be 40 mins. We were ok with this. 25 minutes later our starters came out with my sons meal ( just what we asked for and all food was cooked to perfection and hot?) then shortly after we finished the starters our mains came out. The carol singers were fantastic x there were a few problems throughout the day with staffing but Johnathan ?? Did a great job at trying to keep the ship above board ? , then a couple of staff who were out socialising jumped in & helped bless them great to see them working through it well done all xxParking: Next to pub ample parking

Nice pubNeeds more atmosphere no background music on again,there was no football matches on or commentary for any other sports,so don't understand why no background music on.same when we visit on a Friday afternoon.Dietary restrictions: not too many options for gluten free.Kid-friendliness: Asked for paper and crayons,said they had none again.
