Attractive, historical little pub.. but the smell from the gents was pervading the whole place. One of my pet hates when a pub is trying to do good(ish) food but the toilets are minging,
Not a bad place for Bath, it was the second time we visited while in the area. The pub is old and nice,but there is too much of a dump smell. The lady's toilets had a very strong smell of dampness and wetness,even pub have too much of a smell. Like they really need a big fire place to make place cozy. Service friendly and helpful. But really need to work on- to warm the place up!
Exactly what you would expect from a Greene King with an extra shot of history thrown in. Great pub hidden close to Bath city centre, serving decent pub food at a reasonable price. Staff all friendly and helpful. Recommended.<br><br>Kid-friendliness: No kids menu
