Caviar Plaice

Has become our go to place for fish & chips, the food is reasonably priced and quality is good as well.The only caveats are that the shop is cash only. (there is a cash machine in the shop next door but still a minor faff) and the times we have ordered online for delivery it has taken well over the estimated time and more often than not we have had to ring the place to check they haven't lost our order. I pre ordered my fish n chips as I know they cook fresh. Young person on the phone was polite but didn't get my name. Went to collect young person wasn't rude but not overly friendly and no smile. Fish was amazing as usual ? but chips weren't upto usual standard. Maybe the potatoes aren't great at the moment?

Excellent fish and chips at a good price. Not greasy, great chips and lovely fresh fish in a light crisp batter. Great friendly staff too. A bonus is the ample easy, free parking.Parking: Easy parking with one way in and one way exit.
