Food was lovely as always, tried one of the new puddings was very nice! Mandy excellent service as always! Lewis served me my food and was very good, I asked for apple sauce and he went out of his way to do this for me.
The pub was filthy. Food all over floor, dirty tables, stained curtains, water dripping from ceiling being caught in a bowl next to the table. Windows rotting, it was grim. But staff were friendly and trying their best and the food was fresh and tasty. Pub needs maintenance and a good clean.
Superb place to stay for a short time while working away, food and drink available just below in the pub, car parking at the side too<br>Had food in the bar and if I could have stayed a second night I'd have gone for the carvery which looked lovely
