Old Hall Tavern

Sunday roast was so tasteless. Compared to what you expect from other establishments this is a sorry excuse for a roast.I would love it to be great I would pop in all the time but genuinely a very unseasoned roast and has a very frozen feel to it.Defo more of a boozer for the same old men than somewhere to have a meal.

We held my mums WAKE at the tavern last night after her cremation. We hired the room to the left of the bar which was just the perfect size for what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. Their care ,compassion and thought to detail for our situation was lovely. They prepared the room as asked and the food was served not long after we arrived. I think we shocked the bartenders. We were quite ready for shenanigans. We walked in and the room became silent. The existing patrons just looked at us for a minute and then went about their business. It's a beautiful home town pub! Inviting and open with a pretty standard menu with a twist of flavor and a little bit of heat.
