Malt Shovel

Chose this pub as visiting a local attraction & managed to park in the very small car park at the back, probably only room for 3 cars really but not surprising as it's a local, city pub.<br>It's not a flashy pub, a bit worn & tired with the decor but had attentive, nice & friendly staff.<br>Ordered food which was nicely made & arrived in good time with the lady in the kitchen coming out to our table to check how I wanted my 2 fried eggs cooked...read full review

Was there with my mate, who was the DJ lovely staff, and a good vibe would happily come again. I haven't rated the food simply cos I haven't tried it, but it's easy to get to and lots of nice people in there too !

So tonight they put on a Beach Party and the atmosphere was brilliant everyone was made welcome and encouraged to get involved the staff really made it a fantastic night even when the Dj they hired failed with his equipment they stepped up and ensured the music Mrs the atmosphere, thank you guys please put more events on like this it brings everyone together x
