Lovely big pub with loads of seating. Had a mid afternoon Sunday roast which was very tasty and filling. Pub was fairly quiet so no real atmosphere . Staff were friendly. I'd happily go back to eat there.<br><br>Wheelchair accessibility: Toilets upstairs but assume there are disabled ones downstairs. I didn't look to be honest.

Portions very small and extremely stingy with vegetables.<br>Menu said trout fillet and garlic prawns, saute potatoes and buttered greens.<br>I received a fraction of a fillet.<br>Three non garlic prawns<br>Two tiny pieces of tenderstem broccoli<br>Boiled potatoes<br>No explanation or apology.<br>Friends had shepherds pie and extremely mean with vegetables again.<br>Why ?<br>Come on Cooks and rarely chefs please make some effort<br>Veg...read full review

We went for lunch on Friday for the first time as we've often driven past, and it looks good from me outside, the food was excellent and, what is also good is that they have a very good lunch time menu at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was also lovely. All in all a very good experience.<br>The choices were also very good.
