Shuhag Tandoori Restaurant

Our first visit here so some unfamiliar dishes on the chefs specials. When asking the waiter what they were he comically answered. “ I don’t have my glasses ! Then I don’t know the chef changes then” The red sauce with popadoms was “ strawberry” strange. The food we ate was good but I would have liked to try one of the special dishes. We ordered a takeaway for 11 people - the food was delicious and left everyone feeling impressed (many people had not eaten here before!). The staff were extremely helpful over the phone and the delivery driver was friendly. They even threw in a complimentary bottle of wine!My partner and I often order from here and will definitely continue to do so in the future :)

The food was great. Normally I have no problems with takeaways from here but I had friends round so I ordered for 6 people and waited the 40 minutes as requested, went to pick it up and they hadn't done it so I had to wait another 40 minutes for it to be cooked. They did keep apologising and gave me a bottle of wine for the inconvenience.Parking: Free parking in the evenings.
