The pool tables are good, yet expensive. Pubs charge £1 per play, yet they charge £10 hr, whilst only taking cash for the rental. Drinks are dear, however usually a good atmosphere, the only strange thing is they sometimes play tv shows instead of sports like they advertise.
Visited again one Friday afternoon after a few years. Was a bit apprehensive based on past reviews but still just as good as lost time. Friendly and polite staff as I was on my own while I waited. Will return again for a proper visit.
I’ve really enjoyed coming to this bar for some time. I’m not great at pool, but have enjoyed playing on their tables.I haven’t tried the food as seems expensive for one person.There’s a lady behind the bar with short hair who has helped me a few times and I’ve really appreciated that.Unsure if under new management, but there seems to be a big change in staff
