TASTE OF INDIA

Food has been good in the past, but everytime I've been I've found myself waiting and waiting and waiting for my food. The last time I was there, we left and found food elsewhere, because it was an hour (we timed it) between getting the popadoms and us getting fed up and leaving. Who knows how much longer we might have had to wait.The food, when we have got it, has been good, but every time we've been there we've had to wait an age for the food. I've enjoyed every single takeaway I've had from here (and I've had a variety of dishes). Food is extremely fresh and tasty. Whilst you may be waiting longer for, for example, tandoori chicken, you know it's going to be freshly cooked and not just reheated!The staff are extremely polite and friendly. My go to place for Indian food in Gloucester!

It was very quiet, in fact we were the only people dining in but service was great. Food of a good quality. Especially liked the monkfish starter. We often call in here if we are in Gloucester and are never disappointed. It has had a refurb since we first started coming. Modern with Indian music. Only lacked atmosphere because of lack of diners but it was early on a Tuesday evening. Certainly recommend.
