The Catchpenny

Second visit and the food was lovely again. The homemade chips are to die for! We where made very welcome by the lady behind the bar who made an extra effort to please my nephew who doesn’t leave hospital very often so as a treat for my sister we chose here for her birthday meal. Have eaten here a few times now and the standard of food is brilliant and the prices are very reasonable. The inside of the pub could be decorated better/modernised but I recommend giving it a try for a meal.

We travelled up from down South & to save my mum making a dinner when we got to Ryhill nipped into the Catchpenny were pleasantly surprised to access a roast on a Monday ( turned they offer it daily) it was delicious & the price was outstanding! . In our local just for a Sunday roast is £20 and here for 2 roasts and a pint of cola & cider was £21 odd .<br>The decor could do with a spruce up if we are being picky but the food for taste & value was first...read full review
