Chadni Express

Went here for a takeaway recently. Meat and sauce was good, even if could have been a bit more generous with the meat, but the rice was very poor quality. Have never had rice like this in an Indian takeaway before, not sure what they are doing so wrong with it but it’s not how you would expect. Had the lemon naan which was a nice option and something different to the norm.

Excellent service, the guy in the shop is always welcoming and friendly when picking up the order. Very reasonable for what you get, which is a classic Indian Takeaway. A quick and easy, no thrills Indian Takeaway.

Mixed feelings about the food, I eat the same selection of food at any Indian restaurant, Tikka masala was really not good, I’ve had better in my teens from a jar so at nearly £12 was a let down, my wife’s king prawn byriany was good, onion bargi’s not good, keema naans were amazing and the strangest experience was being able to buy apple crumble from an Indian takeaway, and it was amazing, over all probably would not eat there again to though,
