Browns Edinburgh

Although the seasoning of the pasta wasn't right, I was very satisfied with the shepherd's pie. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Although the taste was lacking compared to the cost, the staff were very friendly.

Brown’s is one of our favorites in Edinburgh. This night’s dinner was a little off for us. Our server was slow to take our drink order and we had great difficulty understanding his accent. We understood about one in four words. The goblet of gin and tonic had ice nearly filled to the rim, diluting the gin. We tasted several reds and the server was very patient with us. Beautiful location, happened on by chance and delighted we did.<br>Lunch menu excellent value, still really good food and delightful service.<br>will be back when next visiting the area.
