Popped in for a drink tonight for my birthday and the land lady gave us a free shot which I thought was lovely. The pub was decorated really good for Halloween. Good selection of drinks. Overall really nice experience and I wish the new managers well

This place is defo somewhere worth visiting! I was dubious about coming to the telegraph as its previously been somewhere I've walked past and seems like a old mans pub, but I was stopped on the street by the landlady as she was cleaning leafs, we had a conversation and she invited me in to the pub for a drink, well what can I say that was at 2 in the afternoon...... Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the Royal Telegraph. A sizeable, traditional pub that serves a good range of beers and wines with a wide selection of pub classics on the food menu.<br>Ended up with a huge burger and chips. Not enough room for a couple of Guinness and a plate full of food to be honest.<br>Not a regular visitor to Derby but we'll be back. Thankyou.
