Upstairs at Anna's

One of the best scones we’ve ever had!! An amazing little find hidden behind the pink door. My son loved the chocolate cake!! Highly recommend! We were an accidentally overcharged, but this was so swiftly sorted, I can’t even use this as a negative.We’ll be back when we’re next in the area<br><br>Kid-friendliness: So kid friendly despite looking very posh! Kids are very welcome. ?

The coffee and cake that I had were delicious, I can't comment on the rest of the food. The toilets had no toilet rolls in either cubicle even though they hold 2 rolls each, so hsd obviously not been checked as it was only 11am, also one of the sinks was blocked and half full of water. There was only one person serving and it was getting busy as I left and so the service was getting slower. These were only minor criticisms and I will still revisit and recommend.

Lovely afternoon tea today, on a very windy day ! Waitresses were attentive, polite,and friendly - nice array of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones , cakes and chocolate mousse. Needed cake box for leftovers! Will be back again
