Went here after a long time avoiding due to poor food and poor service multiple times, Food was rather good this time, definitely improved, service was great at the start, but as people left and we became the only table in one of the areas, we found ourselves constantly chasing the waitress after long waits for plate clearing, dessert menu, bill etc.
Had my partners funeral wake here. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had the use of one private part of the pub for 2 hours, food was excellent and well presented. Positive experience on a sad day.
Booked a funeral wake on 27th September, cannot fault the hospitality from the staff, one lady in particular went the extra mile to accommodate us. Sorry didn't get her name. We were a gathering of 18 adults and one child. The food was lovely and all came out together.<br>We had our own little area.<br>Tea, coffee, juice nothing was too much trouble.<br>From all of my family a very big thank.
