Had a lovely meal for my wife’s birthday. Food was delicious (all had a roast) Euro 2024 football was on and was a nice atmosphere of locals enjoying the football and staff as well. Staff very friendly and helpful and happy to bring a cake out for my wife, even joined in singing! Would recommend.
Great friendly staff with good range of beers & a big garden area. There was a band on in the garden & they were also catering for a wedding after party the day we popped in so the place was lively & buzzin.Despite this it didn't seem to have an affect on the service we received & would definitely go back again when in the area next time.
We came to The Ship in Distress for a family Christmas Day lunch. The service was fantastic and the food was just impeccable, so delicious, good portion size and so so tasty! Compliments to the chef! It really made our family Christmas! Thank You!
