The food is simply amazing, it’s pub grub but done amazingly well. There are some dishes that would make it into fine dining as well, just brilliant food quality. The prices tend to reflect that so if you want a cheap burger go to a weather spoons, but if you want locally sourced farm fresh products cooked brilliantly go here, they also catered for GF wherever possible but we are not coeliac so make sure you check before ordering.

A wonderful pub in glorious surroundings. Menu is fantastic, many items using meat from the owner's own farm. Just excellent quality. Service from all the staff spot on as well. Cannot recommend highly enough.

we were with a group of 12, all food basically arrived at the same time, great selection of draught beer. Very friendly service. Quiet beer garden as pub is located off the main road.
