Very disappointing.<br>Booked for five - a table for four and one for six under the same name ………!!!!!!<br>Drinks - no beer or lager on tap only bottled.Aren’t they a pub also?<br>Meal - no steak at all- they’d run out . Just needs another chicken dish with veg, the only one on offer with cheese, barbecue sauce & bacon does not appeal to everyone but the food is well presented and reasonably priced.

The atmosphere of the pub is that of quiet and peaceful. It overlooks the cricket green and is a very scenic view. We had the set menu which wasn’t anything to rave about smaller than an average meal tasted bland however the steak was very tasty and cooked perfection the crumble was awful and the custard tasted of nothing, Sarah was a very attentive waitress and friendly friendly with customers. Overall, I wouldn’t go for the food but go for the view.
