The Falcon Buntingford

Our mains were fine but we all ordered the pie and they had run out! So one of us had to have something else and this is on an early time on a Saturday night! Ordered pear tatin and is was just a sloppy mess of sticky toffee pudding with pears in it. Crazy as there was sticky toffee pudding on the menu? It’s was not nice. Very misleading ad I told the member of staff and her response wasn’t very apologetic to be honest. No return for us!!

I’ve been planning to come here for over a year and finally got round to it, and I wasn’t disappointed. Great service on arrival, friendly staff with a welcoming manner. The food was amazing, well cooked, fresh and full of flavour. Three courses eaten and all were superb. The beef Wellington was a masterpiece!!! Head chef/owner came out to say hi and was also very friendly. The restaurant itself is really cosy and romantic. We are 100% coming back!!!

I came for lunch at the Falcon on Friday afternoon with my partner and parents and we had the most wonderful experience. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful - so quirky and cosy but really tastefully done. The service we received was fabulous, the lady paid so much attention to us, recommended dishes and drinks that she likes, and made us feel so welcome.
