The East Bengal

The best indian in the east in my opinion. Not sure if they do delivery but I've been several times to sit in. It's BYO, not sure if they charge corkage.<br><br>The portions are quite generous and I often can't finish the main if I get a starter.<br><br>It can be busy so probably best to book on weekends. The table right at the back is a bit loud with the kitchen right behind so try to sit at the front if your hearing is iffy.

Just back from an amazing meal at The East Bengal. Being a Thursday night I assumed we didn't need to book and could just turn up, this paid off for us as we were able to get seated but the place was so busy (in a good way!) My wife and I ate here recently. We were greeted at the door by our name as they were expecting us for our booking.
