Booked a table on a Tuesday night before a show at the Anvil. Great food, excellent service and the prices were reasonable for both the standard and quantity of the servings. Will definitely go again when down in Basingstoke

Visited Chennai express yesterday with my partner. Our waiter Ash was very helpful and changed out menus to the vegan one on request. The food was delicious and the service was great! Would definitely recommend.

Chennai Express had a function to celebrate Pongal, we were alerted to this and happily came along, we love learning about other cultures and the food here is amazingly good. Today did not disappoint. This was a new experience for all three of us as there was no cutlery (there usually is, don't worry) and on this occasion we ate as you would traditionally do.
