My wife and I popped in for the 3 course Sunday lunch in the new, Great Hall section of the pub. Absolutely superb!<br>Everything was delicious, meat cooked perfectly, deep rich gravy and the homemade Yorkshire pudding was ?. Couldn’t fault it. The apple tart for dessert was excellent. Beautiful. Everything you want from a truly classic English pub. The food is excellent, the atmosphere and aesthetic of the pub is charming and soothing. There is a wall showcasing the selection of ales. The staff are polite, friendly and proactive. If you're visiting Aylesbury, this is you top choice for lunch.
