This restaurant has been a favourite of ours and for good reasons. The Steak & Ale pie is absolutely the very best we have ever had. The Herb pastry delicious gravy and meat cooked to perfection is a phenomenal combination.<br>Staff are great as is the service<br>Cannot fault it and looking forward to visiting TLT again

Excellent food, would be a five if the welcome was as nice as the food. Too many youngsters working there who really shouldn’t be in the “hospitality” industry. Shame that young ones still don’t connect actions with consequences, meaning, how you treat and welcome customers who pay your wage has a direct link to how much money you take home. Fab place, we’re from Sheffield and we’ve visited here about 4 times when on walks or on the way back from Alton towers. The food is always amazing and they serve lilleys cider which is always a win from me. Their chips are to DIE for.
