Knot & Plough

Popped in en route along the A518. It was here or the KFC next door, thought we'd try out the K&P. Food was good, drinks were good (they even had some Banks Mild!) and service was polite and quick.

Had the carvery. The meat is fine, the veg is undercooked and does not keep warm under the heat lamp well which is disappointing as if this were sorted it would pick up the other 2 stars from me.

When we entered greeted by a lovely lady who showed us our table.<br><br>Food was amazing and even my fussy child ate all her hunters chicken.<br>Carvery was so lovely.<br>Table service was really good.<br>Had the best few hours there as a family yo catch up will be back.<br><br>Dietary restrictions: Vegan gravy<br><br>Kid-friendliness: Lovely place for a nice atmosphere for kids young and old.
