Called in here for sunday lunch, it was first class, frendly staff ,food delicious , and is also dog friendly.<br>Lovely sitting area outside when the weather is good<br>We will make a return visit when we are in the area again.

This is a great place to eat if you want something close to your hotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The menu has limited choice but the food was good and well presented. Prices are slightly expensive for what you get but overall we would definitely eat here again.

It was okay. We visited Alexander's as we were staying at the castle green hotel. The pub is a very quaint little stone building set in the hotels grounds and is nice country and cosy inside. However, on our visit the place was severely understaffed, we waited an hour and a half for starters (which was just bread and oil) then a further half hour for the mains.
