The Old Harkers Arms

Quality pub and restaurant. Superb selection of well kept real ale. I had the Cheshire Cat bitter which is a lovely pint. They were doing a ‘pie week’ and what a menu that was - absolutely delicious. Needs to be on more than once a year it’s so good. A very well kept place. Bar man / owner had been there 12 years.

Nice canal side location.<br>Busy on a Saturday afternoon.<br>Quite expensive.<br>Didn't eat but the food looked good.<br>Staff attentive.<br>"No energy drink" policy which I admire and am frustrated by in almost equal measure.<br>Will go back, but not in a rush to do so.
