Birthday weekend and total surprise from DH and family where we stopped off for late lunch at this Italian Restaurant. Food Was Sublime. I had the Arancini to start followed by the Duck Ragu. DH had the most delicious Ribeye steak he had ever tasted. Very welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating front of house. We’ve lived near Bologna and the choice of ingredients and flavours on offer here is fantastic. Creative menu, good choice of drinks. Kids food is lovely, fresh and always devoured. Only negative is acoustics can be tricky when it is busy due to old windmill format but otherwise spot on. Hidden gem of the restaurant. Great italian food served (partially) by Italian people. The only reason not to go there is if you dont like Italian cuisine or if you are not fond of staff sometimes chatting loudly with a lot of gestures, which for me is a part of the experience. Highly recommended.
