Roost Restaurant and Bar

It was the first time having dinner here and we were not disappointed! The service we received was great (we were a party of 4), the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with good portions sizes, we ordered the Sri Lankan curry which I highly recommended as it was amazing! Thank you!!

Both the pizzerias in Malmesbury were fully booked on a Saturday night but Roost had several free tables. Goodness knows why as the food was wonderful. I had the Sri Lankan special and my wife had canneloni. The canneloni was a s good as in an Italian ristorante, the chef clearly loves to cook. Apparently he used to run an Italian restaurant in Sri Lanka, hence the unusual menu with traditional Italian dishes plus a few Sri Lankan ones. The food was fantastic. Normally we have pizzas and really nice Italian food here but tonight we both had Sri Lankan food. A really lovely sharing platter to start. Spring rolls, samosas, mushrooms etc…. For main I had the special which was amazing. Chicken and prawn Sri Lankan curry with rice and flat bread. The flavours and spice was absolutely spot on.
