Staff very pleasant. Very generous sevings. Sunday roast - beef nice, pork nice, chicken ok, yorkshires nice, veg nice, gravy nice. Only negative was the potatoes - not at all crunchy, which meant all but one of us left them - but to be fair, portions were so generous we didn't need them. If they had crunchy potatoes it would have been great!
Very welcoming place. There were 3 of us plus a dog and we enjoyed some great service from all the staff who met us. Great selection of drinks and whilst mains menu could be seen as a little limited you could add to these from the small plates. What we had - the burgers were very good.<br>We shall return when in the area.
I recently visited the village in which has Recently been beautifully refurbished. The bar staff were really helpful in particular I’d like to say Thank you to Sarah. She gave us great service and really helpful food recommendations. The burgers and Chicken schnitzel were delicious!
